Senel, was it? I'm out looking for the girl still. Nothing new to report. I've searched the southern area of the forest, now moving to the west.

I feel as though I've been overworking my Alter, though I haven't even used it here. My head hurts and my body aches as though I've been fighting for a long time. Perhaps it's because I haven't been using it. This place is peaceful enough that I haven't even had to call it once... maybe the lack of it is causing this.

No matter. This pain is negligible... I've had far worse. I'll stay with the patrol.

[[OOC: Non-lethal illness. Ryuhou's used to pain, though, so he'll probably keep pushing himself until he collapses, dumb bastard.]]

You know her? I've never met her, but I am acquainted with her friend Senel.

Daisya is another captive here... I do not know him personally, but apparently he was recently returned from the Malnosso's experiments.

You may join me at the western side of the forest, if you'd like. There are others searching as well.

Yeah, I haven't met her face to face, but I've talked to her a bit on here.

Just let me tell Haseo, my housemate, where I'm headed and I'll work my way to your position. I hope he'll be alright without me for a bit.

Haseo is your housemate? Did you know he's ill? I just spoke with him... he said he didn't have anyone to take care of him. Make sure he has what he needs before you leave, will you?

How could I not know he's ill? He looks like crap after it's been in space. I've taken care of him and he knows that I'll come running if he even thinks he needs something. Hopefully he's not an idiot like another guy I know who sets his own broken bones. Funny... he usually calls me the idiot... Anyway, I have to help with the search. If pretty miss is out there somewhere, I have to help, but I'll only be out for a little while. I almost wish Tro' was here. He's the better nurse...

All right, I just wanted to make sure. I'll be waiting here for you... I'm by the river now. I'm going to sit down for a moment.

*dashes around house 33* *grabs his clothes and the scissors he saw in the kit* *cuts square just big enough for his wings out of the shirts* *tisks at his own hurried job* *pulls them on and rolls his leaves back up* *puts his usual jodhpers and boots* *pokes back into Haseo's room to check on him and promises again to hurry back* *jogs out the front door and looks around* *ends up climbing on the roof to get a better view* *sees the river and the forest on opposite sides of the house* *climbs down and runs up the street, noting house numbers on his way and darts through a yard to make it to the river running toward the forest* *slows down to a jog and keeps checking either sign of the river for the sign of Ryuhou*

*is sitting on a boulder, his head resting on his hand*

God, my head hurts... why won't this go away? I haven't even been using my Alter... and now I feel dizzy too...

*looks up upon hearing footsteps, and stands* Duo?

*comes around a tree* That's what they call me!

*eyes him critically*

You look like crap too. Haseo made it sound like you've been out here for a while.

*gets really close and looks at the tension around Ryuhou's eyes*

You going to be alright? Haseo told me to take you to the clinic and I promised to drag your ass there if I have to.

*shakes head* I'm fine. Why would he tell you to take me to the clinic? *turns away and gestures toward the forest* I've been heading this direction.

Oh, he's worried about you. Everyone's sick it seems. *does his best to look innocent*

We can spread out and keep a 10 foot distance between us. Hopefully we won't miss anything that way.

Well, I'm not. ~~[Yeah right!]~~ I'm fine.

*nods* A good plan. We can keep each other in sight that way as well. *starts off into the woods.

*brushes past Ryuhou and takes starts walking a line 20 feet from the river, his eyes working backs and forth*

*picks up a fairly long and straight branch to poke at the under brush*

At least this is a nice forest. *breathes deeply* It's kinda to enjoy something like this without a war around your ears.

Mm. *is not much for talking, but responds just to be polite* I imagine so. *sharp eyes peer into the trees, looking for anything out of the ordinary*

Nnngh, why is my head...?

*pauses to rub at his eyes, putting one hand out to brace against a tree as his vision blurs and a wave of dizziness washes over him* Nngh...

*stops and jerks his head to look at Ryuhou*

You're not alright, are you? Damn hard-asses with their "I'm fine" bull.

*closes the 10 feet until he's close enough to slap his hand over Ryuhou's forehead*

I'm taking you to the clinic and you're going to happily direct me there. Don't make me smack you with the stick.

Fine my ass. Stupid Heero complex.

*looks at him blearily, not even pulling away from his hand* I'm... *sways a little again* All right, maybe I'm not fine. Dammit. *shakes head and pushes away from the tree* I don't need to go to the clinic. It's just a headache... and I'm a little dizzy. *looks askance at him* Maybe a fever too. I just need to go home and get some sleep. I'll be fine.

*chewing on his lip* I don't lie... Haseo said to take him to the clinic if he wasn't feeling well... but technically I said that I would take him anywhere he needed to go.

Heero's method didn't work. Let's try Quatre's.

Is there anyone at this clinic who could really help you? Haseo wanted me to take you there if anything happened. He seemed really worried. You already know he's sick and not doing well. You should be checked over at least.

*shakes head again, stubborn* From what I've been reading, there are others far worse off than I am. I'm sure I'll be fine after some rest. This doesn't seem as bad as some of the others who have it. *stumbles a bit and has to catch himself on a tree trunk again* Nnngh. *rubs his forehead angrily* I just want to lie down. I don't need a doctor or anyone else to tell me that.

Stop being stupid! I don't want to carry your ass out of these damn trees. Do I look like some hero? No.

*says a prayer to Death not to take him yet and slips under Ryuhou's arm* *wraps his arm around the taller boy's waist*

Come on. Start walkin' back to town and you can either make it without me carrying your ass and I'll take ya home or, if you can't you have to tell me where the clinic is or you're sleepin' at my house.

*thinks and turns them back toward town*

Unless you have someone else willin' to take care of you. I wouldn't want to stop some cute girl from caring for you. I just look funny in a nurse outfit.

*startled a bit... isn't used to people touching him, or being close to him, or even in his personal space like this* Nnn... you won't have to carry me. I'll make it. *doesn't pull away though, and leans against him a bit as they walk*

Mimori... oh, if she was here, she'd want to take care of me, I know. Probably good she isn't.

If... if you insist, I'll go to your home. But not to the clinic. I'm sure they're overrun right now.

*shifts a little and keeps a slow pace with Ryuhou, flashing back to his times dragging Heero around*

He'd tense like this too. I wonder if Ryuhou went through training like Heero's... then again, that's impossible.

*shakes his head and realizes his hair's still pinned in his shirt and caught under Ryuhou's arm*

Hey, buddy, I'm going to prop you against a tree for a second. I have to do something real quick.

Hn...? All right... *leans against the tree, tilting his head back, wishing the world would stop swaying around him*

*rips the bark from one of the branches on the ground with his teeth* *grins like an idiot when he finds fibers in the bark* *pulls out the fibers and twists them together before holding it with his mouth* *tugs his hair out from his collar and quickly works the mess into a braid with well-practiced fingers* *spits out the fiber string and ties it around his hair*

Haha! Hilde was right. I never thought something like that would work.

Hmm? *looks at him a bit blearily, then realizes he has his hair pulled back now* Ah... I see... *pushes away from the tree, swaying a bit, nearly stumbling, instinctively reaching out to grab Duo's shoulder*

*slips his body under and around Ryuhou's again*

Guess we'd better hurry you back to a bed. I just had to get that mess under control before you pulled it anymore. Stuff's gotta mind of its own anyway. It started migrating into my pants.

At least he gives in faster than Heero.

*half carries, half supports Ryuhou back to house 33 where he drags him in and through the common room to one of the other doors in the hall*

You can stay in the spare room next to mine. I should be able to hear you and Haseo well if you need something and I'll be able to make sure you don't run off.

*lets Ryuhou collapse on the bed* I'm going to go check on Haseo. I'll be back to take care of you in a minute.

*curls up on his side, coughing once Duo's out of the room*

Damn... I really am ill. I didn't realize... the pain's been a constant for so long...

*eyes close as he drifts into a hazy half-consciousness*
