I'll be staying out in the cave where Leto used to live for awhile longer, I think. Whatever the Malnosso did to me, it's set control of my Alter back to less than what I had even as a child. If I stay very calm and don't exert myself, I can manage not to... destroy things around me, but it is difficult to even maintain that level.

It seems to be easier to keep control with Kazuma around; ~~though I am usually far from calm around him,~~ perhaps it is the effect of another Alter-user being in the vicinity. Kazuma, I suppose I am in your debt.

I have to request that anyone else stay away from here, though. I cannot be sure of my power at the moment, and I do not wish to accidentally harm anyone. Duo, this means you. Are you well?

It is... difficult, being here. He did not leave much behind, but I am still reminded of our time together. I wish that I had gone somewhere else. Staying... calm is not the easiest task.

[There's a sharp cracking sound, then the sound of rocks falling. Ryuhou is breathing heavily, struggling for control.]

[Duo sighs.] I should bring ya some of Kam's lube so you can rub one off and maybe relax 'nough ta get that stick outta your ass. Here I thought it was 'bout ta come out and then it wiggles itself right back up there.

[He hasn't agreed, but he hasn't said he's still coming up there either. Ryuhou is making it easy to find him too. If anything, it's like he's needling the poor guy.]

..... [He's not even sure how to respond to that.]

I have lost control of my power. It is highly dangerous for anyone but Kazuma to be here with me. I can't believe you're even relating it to that.

[Seeing as how he's nearby, Kazuma can't help but hear Duo's comment, so Duo will be able to hear Kazuma as he calls over to Ryuhou]

You really live with that guy--and you ain't killed him yet? Tch.

[And some more incoherent grumbling as he moves out of earshot.]

EXACTLY! [Duo know loves Kazuma now for making his point for him.] Ya haven't killed me yet and I've been way more annoyin' before. If I behave myself, ya shouldn't have a problem at all. See? I think 'bout stuff and junk.

[He'll be sending Kazuma a glare.] It's not just you being annoying, Duo. It's that I can't be responsible for what might happen to you. If I hurt you, even accidentally, I'd never forgive myself.

...even if I do want to hit you some days.

Well, it wouldn't be your fault 'cause you yelled at me and didn't want me to be there and I came there anyway. Ya wouldn't have ta forgive yourself 'cause it wasn't your fault and I wouldn't blame ya anyway. We'll just keep ya calm and I'll talk to ya a little and then be on my way.

Do you not understand that your very presence tends to agitate me? [There's a sigh.] I suppose nothing I say will keep you from coming up here.

[Duo sighs and rolls his head back.] I piss ya off that bad just bein' around ya? Do I smell or somethin'? Look, if I annoy ya that much, I don't have ta come see ya. You can enjoy the time away from me.

It's not... [He sighs, and there might have been a facepalm in there too.] It's not annoyance, Duo. But you do tend to make me not calm around you.

[Does he do it? Should he say it? Of course.] "Not calm" round me~? Does Ryuhou get all excited by me~? Should I ask Hijiri if he minds sharin' the bed with one more~?

[Of course this is not helping his case.]
