I appear to be back to normal, with no perceivable side effects. Apparently I changed back while asleep, which is regrettable... I was interested to see how these experiments were done. I suppose they don't want people actually seeing or remembering what happens.

Out of curiosity, was anyone else awake during their... changes?

Unfortunately I was asleep during the change. But that is quite an interesting point you have there. I'm sure everyone wants to know how, but I was curious of other matters as well. Ah... how unfortunate!
