Ten days. It's been ten days since they took him. I don't want to think about what they might be doing... I don't even understand all of his mental capabilities, but his aunt was in bad condition when she was returned last time. I would assume they'd do something similar to him, but... I should not assume.

Damn your prescience, Leto! What good does it do if you don't try to do anything to change it? I could have at least been there to fight them with you. Why wouldn't you let me? [huff of frustrated breath] And yet your future sight didn't tell you when you would return. That might have been more helpful.

Tch. I shouldn't even be thinking like this. I know there's nothing to be done. I only...

Don't be an idiot, Ryu. He didn't want you ta do somethin' stupid and end up hurt. I don't even have ta talk to the guy ta know that. You know we can't win against those droids. Sure, we fight 'em when they come, but we don't want someone else ta be there and get hurt. I wouldn't ask ya to come help me either. He's probably talkin' the Malnosso to death or just confusin' the hell outta 'em right now.

He knew they were coming, though. He could see, he knew the exact minute. But he didn't even try to do anything. I would have at least tried.

I guess if he had tried ta do anything, his actions woulda been what made the future happen. 'least I think that makes sense. His struggles woulda just made it happen the way he saw it or something. And if you'd tried ta stop 'em, you woulda been hurt at best and taken too at worst. Leto wouldn't want that.

But now it leaves me here wondering if there was something I could have done. The future can't be set in stone like that... I can't accept it.
